
Tag rugby tournament
Today eleven Year 3 children had the chance to take part in a Tag ruby tournament. It involved three other schools. The children competed in a range of tag rugby related activities learning different skills. All of the children involved enjoyed it!

Learning about Diwali
Today across the school we have been learning about Diwali. We discovered rangoli patterns in the playground and created our own patterns and divas. Some of us made cards and practised our dance moves. For all our families celebrating - Happy Diwali!

Harvest celebrations 2017
On Friday, children across the school celebrated Harvest festival by singing songs and reciting poems. For a lot of the children it was the first time they had performed in school to so many adults. A big well done to everyone!! We would also like to say a big thank you for all the food donations that were made. We hope to donate them to our local food bank. Thank you all for your generosity!

Life’s sweeter with a little cake. Or rather gingerbread.
This half term has got off to a flying start for Year 1 with their introduction to cookery lessons! Year 1s currant (oops pardon the bun! I mean pun) topic is the Gingerbread Man and so they had the opportunity to prepare gingerbread dough, roll and cut out their individual gingerbread men using special baking tools. They all loved it!!
