
Harvest festival week 2019
On the 4th of October the children were invited to come and see (with their families) how the allotment has expanded during our harvest festival week. The children made baked goods to sell
over the week in order to help raise money to maintain and further develop the site. Our school allotment has been slowly developing over the years and has gone from
6 wooden planters on the playground to a huge plot with a sensory garden, herb
hopscotch and a polytunnel. The children

Walk to School month
To promote ‘Walk to School’ month, our Junior Road Safety Officers have made the attached poster which they would like to share with all parents. Please do get involved so that your child feels included in this activity. Walk to School months, days and weeks will become a regular part of JLA life. We will continue to promote this initiative and feel sure that each and every family will be open to make the changes necessary to make a difference to congestion in the local area.
