Reception trip to The Chiltern Open air Museum

July 15, 2019

Today the Reception children went on a school trip to the Chiltern open air Museum.  As part of the day the children were able to explore woodlands, go on a bug hunt, learn about aquatic habitats (which included pond dipping) and explore insect life around the 45 acre site, something that linked in nicely with their terms topic of 'let's explore'.

Each class also got the chance to have a shared lunch out in the open.

The reception team would like to say a big thank you to the parents and adults that volunteered!!
